What Is Vibe Coding—and Why It Matters
The Vibe Coding Workshop, led by Thread’s Head of Design, Kristof Orts, embodied that philosophy. Designed as an introduction to low-code and no-code AI prototyping, it gave MSPs a path to rapidly create solutions—without waiting for a dev team.
“It’s really a way to build things without needing to know how to code,” Kristof explained. “You can go from an idea—‘I wish I could automate this task’—to something working in hours, not weeks.”
Real-world examples flowed throughout the session:
- An MSP-built a fun and engaging technician onboarding quiz
- A Credit Memo generator
- A custom ROI calculator, showing customers the financial impact of adopting a new security tool.
Participants experimented live with tools like Lovable.dev, remixing dashboards, building training modules, and learning when to “build versus buy.” As Kristof emphasized, prototypes shine for client-facing tools and internal efficiency hacks, but data integrity and scaled production still call for engineering expertise.
Hands-On Education for Real MSP Challenges
Workshops like Vibe Coding weren’t academic—they were grounded in the day-to-day reality of MSPs:
