This fall, Thread is hosting our first-ever in-person event: AI Service Unleashed Live.
If you’ve been part of our community, you already know this has been a long time coming. What started as a weekly Teams call to share AI news, product updates, and chat with partners turned into a thriving group of MSPs showing up every single week to share ideas, ask tough questions, and figure out how to actually make AI work in real-world service desks.
And now, we’re bringing it to life.
So what is AI Service Unleashed Live?
We’re keeping it small, with around 50 attendees and a handful of handpicked sponsors. It’s meant to be high-impact, highly practical, and full of the kinds of conversations that help you walk away with something real not just a free t-shirt and a vague sense of inspiration.
We’ll spend two days with the industry’s top service desk leaders, technicians, and execs who are deep in the trenches of AI and automation. The ones trying new tools, building scrappy workflows, rethinking how their teams are structured, and looking for better ways to support their clients without burning out their staff.
We’ll talk about the big stuff, like what AI means for the future of service, and the tactical stuff, like how to train a model, write better prompts, or decide when to buy vs. build. We’ll eat good food (hello Texas BBQ), we’ll laugh a lot, and we’ll end the week with a party under a historic NASA shuttle carrier.
It’s all happening at Space Center Houston, which feels like the perfect place to talk about the future. Surrounded by the literal history of what it means to go further than anyone thought possible.
One of the best parts of this community is how open it’s become. People aren’t just showing up to listen, they’re contributing. They’re dropping screenshots, sharing lessons from failed experiments, talking about the messy middle of implementing automation. That honesty is rare in this industry, and we want to create a space where it thrives. Because the more we all share, the faster we all get better.
