The role

At Thread, we are on a mission to revolutionize the managed IT services industry by enabling service magic for managed IT service providers (MSPs) and their clients.

As our Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering on our marketing strategy, building brand awareness, and fueling our growth via inbound demand generation. You play an early, contribution-oriented role as an early foundational piece in the future of our marketing organization. This role represents a great opportunity to grow your career in a fast-growing industry at an exciting and dynamic startup.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Help to develop and execute content marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Contribute individually and within the team to execute industry (field and digital) event strategies, including ideation, sponsorship logistics, pre- and day-of-event coordination and on-site execution; create unique and memorable experiences, ensuring all events are successful opportunities to generate leads and word-of-mouth interest.
  • Craft product-oriented, value-based messaging that is clear and effective in communicating Thread’s value prop and benefits.
  • Create compelling materials and social media content that resonates with our target audience(s) - key stakeholders, economic buyers, and those in the MSP front office who bring Thread with them “to work” every day.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and inform content creation.
  • Analyze social media trends to optimize our digital outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver in alignment with product, design, marketing, growth and success strategies.
  • Elevate our brand, helping to create a highly-engaged community of MSPs.

Who you are

  • You know your way around Google Analytics, leading digital ads platforms, Hubspot, Google Search Console, and other tools in the marketing stack.

What you should have:

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience. 
  • You have a bias for action and seek novel ways to improve and grow programs. You approach challenges with an open mind and are willing to experiment, fail fast, learn and iterate.
  • Track record of leading product marketing and brand management/marketing initiatives with business impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Startup experience required; B2B SaaS preferred
