Role Overview:
You are a marketing unicorn with ultimate hustle and the knowhow to optimize and grow our B2B SaaS funnel while growing brand recognition in creative (dare I say, radical) ways.
First and foremost, you will produce and update high-quality and engaging content (blog posts, emails, web pages, social media, paid media, etc.) that educates our audience and positions Thread as the market leader for AI Service Desks. You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating radical and engaging in-person events that attract our ICP like a moth to the flame. And because a marketer never does just two things, you'll be doing outreach to get our brand, subject matter experts, and thought leadership published on 3rd party sites to build brand recognition.
You’ll play a key role in generating awareness, nurturing leads, and building relationships within our industry. This is a unique (very unique) opportunity to develop your marketing career within a collaborative, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Marketing: This role demands a storyteller who can see beyond features to envision ecosystems, someone who can articulate not just what makes our platform different, but why that difference represents transformational value for the businesses we serve. You'll craft narratives that help prospects understand that choosing Thread isn't just a purchase decision—it's a strategic investment in their future.
- Content Development: Create a variety of high-impact content, including downloadable guides, industry benchmarks, ebooks, case studies, and customer reviews. Oversee the strategy and execution of virtual events like webinars and podcasts, and collaborate with our marketing associate to plan and execute the content calendar.
- Social Media Engagement: Manage the brand's social channels and support our team members by ghostwriting social media posts that team members can post to build engagement and communicate Thread’s mission and vision. Provide guidance to the marketing associate in public relations and relevant campaigns that build brand awareness and engagement.
- Community Building: Develop and manage a referral program, participate authentically in social media discussions (primarily LinkedIn and Reddit), and build a highly-engaged community of MSPs and industry professionals. Foster organic interactions that enhance brand loyalty and amplify brand advocacy. Work with customer success to build a valuable partner community, leveraging Discord and quality content within the weekly AI Service Unleashed forum.
- Demand Generation: Drive paid media campaigns, manage paid partnerships, and execute on demand generation strategies that increase awareness and engagement. Manage the paid budget and continuously optimize campaigns to maximize ROI. Share regular reports with marketing and leadership with learnings and action items.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with product, sales, and design teams to ensure alignment across growth initiatives effective and compelling. Build and manage targeted account lists for our team of SDRs, and develop personalized outreach campaigns.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.
- Proven expertise in content creation, with a portfolio that includes high-impact, engaging materials like guides, ebooks, case studies, and social media posts.
- Experience in community-building and demand generation through social, paid media, and partnership programs.
- Skilled in Google Analytics, HubSpot, and paid advertising platforms, with a results-oriented approach to campaign management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a strong sense of brand storytelling (i.e., you're a word nerd)
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset, with a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
