When more than 50 managed service providers (MSPs) gathered at Space Center Houston last week for AI Service Unleashed 2025, history was made. For the first time, MSPs had a conference built just for them—one focused not on traditional IT operations, but on how artificial intelligence can transform service delivery.
The energy was unmistakable. From the opening keynote on the future of “Intelligent Service Delivery” to hands-on workshops, attendees walked away with practical skills, fresh ideas, and a renewed sense of where AI is taking the industry.
The conference agenda spanned two days of immersive learning:
The full agenda reflected a simple truth: MSPs don’t just need to hear about AI; they need to experience it.
And this post spotlights just one of the many incredible sessions from AI Service Unleashed. Over the coming days, we’ll be dropping more recaps, code-alongs, and takeaways from keynotes, panels, and labs—so keep an eye on the Thread blog and our LinkedIn for fresh content you can put to work immediately.
The Vibe Coding Workshop, led by Thread’s Head of Design, Kristof Orts, embodied that philosophy. Designed as an introduction to low-code and no-code AI prototyping, it gave MSPs a path to rapidly create solutions—without waiting for a dev team.
“It’s really a way to build things without needing to know how to code,” Kristof explained. “You can go from an idea—‘I wish I could automate this task’—to something working in hours, not weeks.”
Real-world examples flowed throughout the session:
Participants experimented live with tools like Lovable.dev, remixing dashboards, building training modules, and learning when to “build versus buy.” As Kristof emphasized, prototypes shine for client-facing tools and internal efficiency hacks, but data integrity and scaled production still call for engineering expertise.
Workshops like Vibe Coding weren’t academic—they were grounded in the day-to-day reality of MSPs:
Attendees left with projects they could continue back home, as well as best practices for securing API keys, versioning prototypes, and integrating with systems like Supabase or Azure Functions.
One participant summed up the sentiment best:
“I’m not a coder, but now I feel like I can get from idea to execution without it unraveling. That’s a huge shift for our business.”
AI Service Unleashed wasn’t just another industry event. It was a declaration: MSPs are no longer spectators in the AI revolution—they’re builders, experimenters, and leaders.
With the success of the inaugural conference, the path is clear. MSPs will drive the adoption of AI-powered service delivery, not as a distant vision, but as a practical, revenue-generating capability today.
And for Thread, this is only the beginning.
